Patchwork has been around for decades, but recently started showing up in fashion trends. During college, I used this trend as inspiration for a garment construction project. Focusing on sustainability, I did not purchase any materials for the project and used a friends fabric scraps to piece together 2 dresses.

This inspired me to keep creating with patchwork after graduation. I found a collection of vintage quilt toppers that were meticulously hand stitched together with almost perfect precision! I created a bralette out of one square, being sure to use every last scrap and patch. I included a picture of my mockup, also using vintage fabric.
