From quilt to coat

I’ve been collecting vintage quilts for a few years for the purpose to make them into clothing. Sometimes the quilt is too beautiful to even imagine cutting up. I enjoy learning about the history of quilting and can appreciate the time and effort that goes into constructing these masterpieces! I love being able to transform something that normally is tucked away in a corner, to something functional and fashionable.
