For this school project, I wanted to create a dress that could be worn multiple times in different ways, leaning into the phrase “cost per wear.” I created detachable sleeves and a skirt using velcro, that way the pieces could be removed to achieve a different look. I hand stitched all of the beads and jewels, which were sourced from a second hand store along with all the fabric used.
